FAQ

Common questions

Do you come to my hangar, or do I bring the aircraft to you?

Both. We’re fully mobile and service most hangars and FBOs in the area — water and power access helps but isn’t required for most packages. You can also schedule drop-off service at our facility.

How long does a full detail take?

A full detail on a typical single-engine piston runs one full day. Larger aircraft, heavy oxidation, or add-ons like brightwork polishing can extend that to two days. You’ll get a firm timeline when we confirm your booking.

What determines the price?

Aircraft size and condition. A lightly used SR22 details faster than a King Air that’s been parked outside for a year. The “from” prices on each service reflect a typical single-engine piston in average condition — request a quote for a firm number.

Are your products safe around avionics, windows, and de-ice boots?

Yes. We use aviation-specific products only — no household or automotive glass cleaners near acrylic windows, no silicone dressings on boots, and masking around static ports, pitot tubes, and antennas is standard procedure.

How often should my aircraft be detailed?

For aircraft flown regularly, we recommend an exterior wash every 4–6 weeks and a full detail two or three times a year. Hangared aircraft can stretch that; aircraft tied down outside need it more often.

Do I need to be there during the appointment?

No — most customers aren’t. As long as we have access arranged with your hangar or FBO, we’ll send before/after photos when the work is done.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem. Your booking confirmation email includes a reschedule link — anything more than 24 hours out can be moved with one click. Inside 24 hours, just give us a call.
